Precision Agriculture Course - INTA

The most important training event on Precision Agriculture organized annually by the INTA Manfredi Experiment Station will be held on Wednesday 24 and Thursday 25 of September, 2014 with a new format and free admission.

The Argentine agricultural activity maintains a constant evolution in applied technology, in order to increase accuracy, operator and productivity. Therefore, conducting a training related to these issues is key to answer a productive sector with large and increasingly specific demands.

In this sense INTA, through the Public-Private Network Precision Agriculture is organizing the 13th International Course on Precision Agriculture and Accurate Machine Expo, an event with international recognition, for producers, consultants and contractors that has carried 12 editions with resounding success.

The specialists will lecture on the following topics:

  • Machines and precise components
  • Handling inputs and crops environment
  • Management and control of field work
  • Traceability of processes and products
  • Technological innovations for quality differentiation
  • New GIS applications
  • Analysis of data from sensors and processors
  • On-line transmission of that information to a web cloud to making decisions in real time
