ProCórdoba’s President Meets with Businesspersons from San Francisco

The new president of ProCórdoba Agency, Pablo De Chiara, together with City Mayor Damián Bernarte and provincial legislator Gustavo Tévez, held a meeting at the headquarters of the Industrial Park of San Francisco with businesspersons and representatives of the Technology Cluster, the Chamber of Foreign Trade and the academic, agricultural and industrial sectors of San Francisco.

At the end of the meeting, Mayor Bernarte said, "We believe that the potential of the city springs from the permanent capacity of our people to ‘generate.' Considering that San Francisco has major infrastructure that supplies drinking water to 100% of the population, a sewage system that tends to 90% of the residents, and a natural gas network that reaches 91% of inhabitants, we have a lot to offer when it comes to attracting new residents to settle here."

"The determination to work, grow and develop together is a hallmark of the people of San Francisco, so you will always find the municipal government supporting ProCórdoba, and we strive to make our government plain, open and participatory. If San Francisco, even in an unfavorable context, emerges as powerful, it is because of what our people produce, and we want to support and promote this activity," concluded the Mayor.

De Chiara, for his part, expressed, "I always enjoy coming to San Francisco; this city and the region are significant allies in the new responsibilities entrusted to ProCórdoba, which is the agency in charge of promoting exports from the province." He also referred to the reasons for his visit to the city and remarked, "San Francisco has a very important industrial park. Strongly-focused on technological growth, the city works closely with the community to develop exportable talent and goods. It is therefore a valuable and strategic ally for the Agency in the activities we undertake, from fairs and missions to training opportunities and all the rest."

"The idea is to start drawing up an agenda that will allow us to improve our export offer and assess the region's unique characteristics in order to design new strategies and thus be able to position San Francisco as an exporting community. Today we begin to outline a path so that by 2024 we have an agenda that generates development and employment," he finished.
