ProCórdoba Agency, under the Ministerio de Industria, Comercio, Minería y Desarrollo Científico Tecnológico (Ministry of Industry, Commerce, Mines and Scientific-technological Development), through the Service of Strategic Export Development to Brazil "Córdobra", was visited by Fernando Dalle, Commercial Manager, and Fernando Carvalho, in charge of international purchases, members of the Brazilian company "F&F Comercio de Alimentos LTDA.”

Due to the interest of those responsible for the Brazilian company, the agenda management was carried out by the Agency in order to hold meetings with representatives of Córdoba companies V&G, VANOLI and SIERRA VERDE. Moreover, foreign businessmen were provided with trade and technical-statistical information about the main exporters of olives of the province of Córdoba.

The event ended with a visit to the plant VANOLI, where they were informed about the canned products, olive paste, condiments, among others. What is more, details of the composition of the ingredients required by the client were discussed with the person responsible for the company’s quality, supply alternatives, mode of transport, and product packaging.

Business Opportunities 

Doing business is expected because the ones responsible for the foreign company said that they have found the product proposals that met their expectations with respect to quality, range of products offered, volume and conditions of sale. The intention of acquiring some of the products from the providers who participated in the meetings in short term is also expected, which is a prior sale decision according to the price committed to being sent by Córdoba companies.
