The proposal made by Venezuela to promote Complementary Economic Zone among MERCOSUR, ALBA-TCP, Petrocaribe and CARICOM, part of the integration process in Latin America and the Caribbean, was accepted by the member countries of MERCOSUR. “There are 24 countries in our continent totaling South America and much of Central America. It is an economical training that arises to go far beyond what has been called free trade."
