June saw the PAE Hackathon take place and end on a high note. The event was organized by Socialab Argentina, Pan American Energy and the Government of Chubut to find sustainable solutions for the challenges of the post-pandemic world. Among the 14 projects awarded a prize were three submitted by Cordobese entrepreneurs.
The PAE Hackathon: the Future Is Counting on You was a virtual event open to anyone wishing to use their talent to enhance learnings and solve challenges derived from the world pandemic. Participants were accompanied by mentors and experts from partner institutions.
"What can we do in this context?" and "What demands and needs must be met?" were some of the questions that guided the reflection centered around various topics: economic and industrial impact, education, health, urban planning and active citizenship, digital transformation and industry 4.0, and any other issue participants considered it relevant to address after the Covid-19 crisis.

Winners
A team of expert judges selected the ten winning projects. Two additional projects were chosen by the public and yet two others received an honorable mention. The prize consists in the invitation to participate in a Digital Bootcamp where winners will fully develop their projects. Training will begin on July 20 and will consist of five online sessions, four conversation meetings, weekly assignments, mini-tests and customized mentoring.
The objective is for winners to undergo a development process shared with the other entrepreneurs, acquire new tools, and bring their ideas to life, implementing validated and already highly-developed projects with a concrete impact.
