The information in this report was produced by ProCórdoba Agency's Technical & Commercial Information Department on the basis of data provided by the National Institute of Statistics and Censuses (INDEC).
Argentine exports in 2019 reached a total 65,115 million dollars, 14 percent of which (9,051 million dollars) originated in the Province of Córdoba.
The aforementioned figures represent a 5.4 percent increase in the value of Argentine shipments compared to 2018, and a 14.7 percent rise in the case of Córdoba.
Exports from Córdoba were destined to 134 countries in 2019. The ten main destinations together represented 80 percent of the exports. The main destinations of Córdoba's exports were Brazil (1,319 million dollars), China (1,053 million dollars) and Viet Nam (861 million dollars). Compared to 2018, exports to Brazil evidenced a 16 percent fall, whereas shipments to China and Viet Nam had an increase of 140 percent and 41 percent, respectively.
Forty-two (42) percent of the Province's exports were concentrated in primary products, whereas articles of agricultural origin represented 39 percent and articles of industrial origin accounted for 16 percent.
