• The Dos Ríos Group company has invested more than three million dollars to expand its capacity.
• Together with ProCórdoba Agency, the firm will embark on the path to consolidate its export offer.

ProCórdoba Agency's president Pablo De Chiara participated in the opening of the new industrial plant of Nutrifarms — a leading firm in the swine nutrition market — in Despeñaderos.

The company belongs to the Dos Ríos Group, which employs 80 people, has doubled its capacity and has automated processes with state-of-the-art technology from China.

The opening ceremony was also attended by Vice Governor Myrian Prunotto; town Mayor Carolina Basualdo; acting legislature chairperson Facundo Torres; and provincial ministers of Sergio Busso (Bioagroindustry) and Infrastructure and Public Services (Fabián López).

"The provincial government supports the development of every sector, working with companies side by side. That is why we continue to assist and support the activities of the productive interior of Córdoba. In the words of Governor Martín Llaryora, ‘to govern is to generate employment,'" said Prunotto during the opening ceremony.

Since January of this year, the company has invested a total 3.5 million dollars in the new fully-automated plant.

The money was used to expand the facilities by nearly 39,000 sq. ft., totaling 65,000 sq. ft., and allowing the plant to increase the production capacity to 5,000 tons per month.

Nutrifarms currently has an after-sales service and a network of 13 distributors nationwide, as explained general manager Federico Testa and technical manager Enrique Pasos Da Silva.

Furthermore, a Biodiesel plant has been built to process the oil obtained from the extrusion plant in order to produce biodiesel for self-consumption.

The company, dedicated to the production of complete feed, premixes and vitamin-mineral supplements for pigs, has been in the market for more than 10 years.

After this bold leap, ProCórdoba Agency and Nutrifarms will work together to strengthen the firm's export offer and consolidate the business as yet another exporter from the province of Córdoba.
