On September 12th, in the framework of actions developed by the IntraNational Program of ProCórdoba Agency, which facilitated the marketing of products and services of companies from Córdoba with national and foreign business companies, the "Business Rounds of the Comprehensive Program of Gas Pipelines of the Province of Córdoba" were held in Orfeo Hotel & Suites.
The plan includes the construction of distribution pipelines, pressure reducing stations, separation stations, measurement and odorization, scraper launching and receiving traps, intermediate pressure reducing station and optical links.
The event was co-organized with the Ministry of Industry, Commerce and Mining, Chamber of Metallurgical Industries and Components of Córdoba and the Industrial Cluster of Oil, Gas and Mining. It aimed at bringing the production supply of companies linked to the above sectors closer.
Thus, meetings were organized during the morning and afternoon in order for all the enrolled companies to have the opportunity to participate in them. As a result, around 200 business meetings were held. Participants: Electroingeniería S.A associated with China Petroleum Pipeline Bureau, IECSA together with China Communications Construction Company LTD, constructora Norberto Odebrecht SA and over 17 local companies.
The representatives of the applicant companies agreed that the main aim of the business round was to get information about Córdoba suppliers. Regarding this, Claudio Avellaneda, representative of Electroingeniería S.A Company, said:
"The challenge is to find local companies that support us in this great gas pipeline construction. This means an opportunity for Córdoba companies.”
Jorge Petric, representative of Iecsa, said:
"We come to know the supply. The Ministry of Industry together with ProCórdoba has been kind enough to promote local companies. We are here to know them and assess costs.”
Javier Vea Murguía from Constructora Norberto Odebrecht SA, claimed:
"We've found supply we didn`t collect it. We'll evaluate the economic and technical part and according to this, we'll define the suppliers."
The offeror companies said that the round is a great opportunity to meet with the operators and be able to offer their products and they highlighted that they’ve seen predisposition on the part of the applicants.
