Starting in 2012, Pre-professional Training Opportunities have been available at ProCórdoba Agency for undergraduate students. The service seeks to contribute to the strengthening of the Export Culture of the Province of Córdoba, while offering both local and foreign students the opportunity to do a practicum in our different institutional departments. 

This allows the establishment of relations between the education sector and ProCórdoba. Thus, the public-private agency contributes to training the foreign trade professionals of tomorrow, while at the same time providing them with insight into different work opportunities. This favors the students’ entry into the world of work and allows them to respond to the demands of companies and organizations in the industry, which require professionals who understand it.

The Agency for the Promotion of Exports of the Province of Córdoba welcomes between 20 and 24 “pre-professionals” a year, who come from different (regional, national and international) educational institutions.

It should be highlighted that, due to the significance this service has acquired over time, this year our Agency provided training on foreign trade for secondary school teachers in the Province of Córdoba, with the support of the Ministry of Education,  and the subject has now been included in the secondary school curriculum. 

The purpose of this effort is to introduce fundamental foreign trade concepts in order to instill and develop an export mind in secondary and higher education students. In other words, the purpose is to develop an entrepreneurial spirit willing to work in the Latin America economy, because we understand that the youth must receive an education oriented towards the globalized world that affects all the levels of an organization.
