Córdoba and Panama agreed to strengthen cooperation ties and promote more fluid trade relations that will benefit both states.
The agreement seeks to promote the attraction of foreign direct investment and exports from both the Republic of Panama and the Province of Córdoba, in addition to expanding and consolidating economic and commercial relations between both parties. The memorandum underlines the will to work in strategic areas such as logistics, agricultural exports, tourism, energy and the digital sector. Finally, by providing an institutional framework for collaboration and cooperation between the parties, it aims to improve the conditions to boost business cooperation as well.
The following activities specifically will be conducted under the agreement:
- exchange of information on events, statistics, opportunities and trends;
- the opportunity to participate in seminars, workshops and other training opportunities offered by the parties; and
- organization of face-to-face and virtual events.
