Relaunching of Linguistic Tourism from Córdoba

 

From the area of Commercial Promotion of ProCórdoba Agency, it is informed that an agreement has been signed, together with Córdoba Tourism Agency, in order to continue with the actions that promote linguistic tourism abroad.

The main goal is to attract international students in order for them to study Spanish at the following educational institutions:

Blas Pascal University 

Catholic University of Córdoba

National University of Córdoba

Siglo 21 Business University

National University of Villa María

Oxford Idiomas

Set Idiomas 

Centro Integral Lenguas (CIL)

CELEC (Spanish for Foreigners)

COINED (Educational Exchange Foundation)

The President of Córdoba Tourism Agency, Gustavo Santos, highlighted the “sustained growth” of this section when he pointed out the increase in the number of foreign boys and girls that come to our province to study. Regarding this, he said:

Córdoba is a friendly destination if we compare it with other destinations and regions. We have grown a lot in the Brazilian market and we started to have impact on other markets such as USA and Canada. We also began to seek smaller markets, for example the Italian market.”

What is more, the General Manager of ProCórdoba Agency, Roberto Rossotto, said that “hard work begins to bear fruits," referring to the work that has been performed for almost 10 years. He also pointed out that “working with the export of services, i.e. selling ideas and training, is a challenge for those who are used to exporting tangible goods."
