Reverse Mission of Auto & Motorcycle Parts Sector: Over 150 Business Interviews

The 10th Edition of the Business Round in the city of San Francisco closed successfully, in the framework of the Reverse Mission of the Auto & Motorcycle parts sector that was organized by ProCórdoba Agency together with the Federal Investment Council and the Foreign Trade Chamber of San Francisco and the Region. The foreign delegation was made up of companies from Brazil, Chile, Ecuador, and Peru.

With the participation of 8 (eight) international operators and 25 (twenty five) companies, most of them from Córdoba, over 150 business interviews were conducted during two hardworking days. The meetings were held in the Industrial Park of the City of San Francisco, which allowed foreign companies to know the productive and industrial ecosystem of the region, the business dynamics and the ways of working.

The main goal of this Reverse Mission was to perform a comprehensive activity that combines a business round with programmed meetings. This way, the companies of the province presented their production supply to the foreign delegation. Moreover, technical visits were arranged in order for the operators to know companies of the sector with production potential.

The international operators, who saw a renewed interest in the Argentine market, highlighted that the rounds and the visits to companies allowed them to know and see the high level of provincial products, meet, contact and evaluate new suppliers.

Fabio Assis, representative of RP Parts de Brazil, said:

It is the second time I’ve participated in this round with the expectation to find a company that provides spare parts to export to Brazil. I've met with representatives of important companies. I hope that we'll be able to do business in medium term.

We see a positive change regarding the international trade in Argentina. There are more expectations on the part of the businessmen and a greater openness is seen. I congratulate and thank ProCórdoba staff for the organization, logistics and information prior the mission. From the beginning, we were accompanied and our consults and queries were answered."

Felipe Cléricus, representative of INDRA in Santiago de Chile, said:

We work with spare parts and auto parts of Fiat and Volkswagen. The fact that these companies are here in Córdoba means that there is a good opportunity to find interesting suppliers. The rounds are important to know the supply. In this opportunity we’ve known this industrial Park that is wonderful.

The intention is to export and there are good manufacturers. There is a promising atmosphere. There is a clear vision of the future and more expectations."

The Reverse Mission of the Auto & Motorcycle parts sector had the logistics and the coordination of Roberto Podadera, representative of the Foreign Trade Chamber of San Francisco and the Region. On the part of ProCórdoba Agency, Luis Gilli, Trade Promotion Manager, Alejandra Nazar, Noelia Peralta and Antonella Barisonzi, coordinators of the event and members of the work team of the area were present.
