ProCórdoba Agency and the Association of Entrepreneurs of the Central Region (AERCA), together with the Federal Investment Council (CFI), presented in Villa María the 11th Business Round: “Villa María Exporta 2015.” It is going to be held on 3rd and 4th September in Amerian Hotel, in Córdoba city.

Up to now, ten international operators confirmed their participation. They come from Brazil, Boliva, Chile, Honduras, Peru, Uruguay  and Mexico. It is important to say that these countries were strategically selected according to the markets with the greatest potential of access for local businessmen.

Regarding the importance of this event, the Trade Promotion Manager of ProCórdoba, Luis Gilli, said that significant work has been carried out for a long time in order for this round to be leader in the food sector. As regards the results of this work, he said:

For over 10 years, the international businessmen have known that the area is a dairy basin and food industry. Foreign companies interested in this field want to participate in this event. For this reason, this year we had to make an important selection.”

In "Villa María Exporta," Argentinian businessmen are able to do export business with companies and international operators. The modality chosen to establish initial contact is through personal interviews, where national offerors meet with international representatives who are selected according to their interest in the local products.

This business round is organized on the nutritional profile but with the addition of animal nutrition food for the second consecutive year.

The First Intranational Round

In this opportunity, for the first time an Intranational Business Round will be carried out. It is jointly organized with the Argentine Confederation of Medium-Sized Companies (CAME).

The call is open to supermarket chains that are interested in doing business with different regional economies and SMEs from Villa María, the region and the whole country.

This is a very important activity because many of the SMEs that do not export will be able to carry out operations with national companies. “This occasion allows local SMEs to have greater opportunities and start with a sales experience to other provinces,” Gilli said.
