ProCórdoba Agency, under the Ministry of Industry, Commerce, Mining, and Scientific Technological Development, conducted a workshop: “Business Relations with Southeast Asia,” on 3rd November, with the support of the Federal Investment Council (CFI).
The workshop was conducted in the framework of the program of Commercial and Institutional Linkage with Southeast Asia, with the support of the area of Cooperation and International Relations together with the area of Technical and Commercial Information. The delegation from Southeast Asia was made up of diplomats of the commercial area of the Embassy of Thailand, Vietnam, and Philippines.
The Royal Embassy of Thailand was represented by Kaewta Booncharoen, Minister Counsellor and Commercial Director, together with Rut Poza Vicente, Commercial Coordinator. From the Embassy of Vietnam, Van Nguyen Thi Thanh, Commercial Attaché, and María Carmela Teresa A. Cabreira, Second Secretary and Consul at the Philippine Embassy, were welcomed.
During their visit, the diplomats got together with the Secretary of Industry, Pablo De Chiara, to make the productive reality of the province known and to promote new cooperation links. The Director of Industrial Policies, Federico Banchio, the General Manager of ProCórdoba Agency, Roberto Rossotto, and the Manager of the area of Cooperation and International Relations, Viviana Arias attended the meeting.
Finally, in the framework of EPIAL 2015 (International Meeting of Food Industry), the delegations met with the main leaders of the sectoral chambers of the province of Córdoba: the Industrial Union of Córdoba, the Argentine Peanut Chamber, the Foreign Trade Chamber of Córdoba and the Association of Entrepreneurs of the Argentine Central Region of Villa María.
